I prepared the speech for about two days, I brainstormed a lot of topic, because there too many things that I want to persuade. Last speech maybe I use too much energy to entertain the audiences, so my speech seems like not very close to the topic. So, this time when I was preparing, I think I should give a speech that has some real information, not just funny, I want to have a deeper meaning. At first, I actually wanted to use the topic: keep trying, don’t give up. But it is too normal and vague. And everyone already knew this opinion for a long time. About the listening work in this assignment,  they are  really good  practice for me.  The contents are also useful, such as : how to take notes in class, how to speak so people w ant to listen to you and so on.  These work  can improve my listening skills and the speed of r e acti on,  can help me to communicate with others better. I think the hardest one is the  millennium park project . Firstly, it doesn’t have video,  that’s boring! I don’t want to listen anymore. Secondly, those artists’ name  are  hard to spell, so  when I was thinking how to express to names, the radio was gone... This project is very interesting I think. When we work as a group, we can talk along the way we visit the neighborhood and can practice English. I remember that Saturday was a really sunny day, the wind was gentle, and we walk along the path, the yellow leaves fell off the trees. It was really amazing and relaxing. I think the challenge to work as group is too hard to get in touch with others. When you want to do the ppt, and want to ask for some information, your group mates may be sleeping, chatting and something like that. This will influence the process about the project. But I think this is not a big deal, we have a good time together I think. About the interview, I was excited when I finally found someone can ask, and she is a nice person, we had a good chat. A happy holiday Hi everyone, I am an international student from China. This my first time to celebrate the Labor Day in America! I am so excited! This holiday I have been to many place, such as Millennium park, navy pier and Willis Tower. My sister and her friend and I, we look around the Downtown by bike. It is very excited! I am so glad that I make a new friends with my sister' friend.
